We proudly work with three of the industry’s biggest and most recognised accrediting bodies; AITT and ITSSAR. All of our loading shovel operator and instructor training courses are accredited by one of these accreditors. Visit our forklift training accreditations page for more details.
Upskill your workforce and take advantage of loading shovels on your site with accredited courses from HL Training. All courses are accredited and delivered by experienced instructors. To learn more about our loading shovel training, get in touch call 0117 952 5625 or complete a contact form.
No. You do not need a loading shovel licence. In fact, they don’t exist. There are, however, several steps you will need to do to safely and legally be able to operate a loading shovel, including meeting some basic requirements and completing training. You can learn more about the requirements in our guide, “Do You Need a Forklift Licence? Spoiler: It Doesn’t Exist!”.
We can provide our training courses nationwide at a worksite of your choice. Alternatively, you can visit our Bristol training centre, which is complete with four training rooms and all the facilities required by our accrediting bodies.
Refresher courses are not a legal requirement, as your accredited certificate does not expire. However, HSE recommends refresher courses are carried out every 3 – 5 years.
