First Aid at Work Course
HL Training Services offer a wide range of First Aid courses, from Emergency First Aid to Paediatric First Aid and First Aid for Schools. Emergency First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.Subjects covered include:
Typically this course is delivered in 1 day. However the mandatory 6 hours required by the HSE can also be delivered over a longer period of time should staff availability be a problem to your organisation.
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years
Paediatric First Aid
This is a Level 3 award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification, and will be delivered by an instructor with the correct qualifications and approvals.
This is a blended course, which means this is made up of 2 parts. See below;
This is made up of 2 parts to meet the 12 learning hours.
Online Part:
A link will be sent to you, which you can follow to register for the online part. Once you have done this, you can go ahead and book the online course. It is essential that this is completed before attending the practical training part with a instructor.
Practical Part:
This is a face-to-face practical element, which takes 1 day. This can be booked at one of our training centre’s at your premises.
Prices quoted includes the online and practical parts, paediatric first aid handbook and certification valid for 3 years.
Successful candidates will be awarded an HSE recognised First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.The HSE strongly recommend that
A 2 day course consisting of theory and practical work along with an independent assessment.
Successful candidates will be awarded a new HSE recognised First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years
