Our E0 category training is suitable for warehouse operatives, retail staff, delivery drivers, and logistics personnel who regularly use low-lift electric pallet trucks, powered pallet movers, or low-level order picking trucks as part of their daily operations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to operate these machines safely and in compliance with current regulations.

Course Objectives Include

Safe operation and maneuvering in pedestrian zones

Learn how to operate E0 trucks safely in areas shared with pedestrians, focusing on speed control, visibility, and hazard awareness to prevent accidents.

Battery charging and maintenance (including lithium-ion safety)

Understand correct battery charging procedures, maintenance routines, and specific safety measures for lithium-ion batteries to avoid fire risks and extend battery life.

Load handling and stability principles

Gain knowledge on how to position and secure loads properly, maintain truck stability, and prevent tipping during movement or lifting.

Pre-use inspection and fault reporting

Develop the habit of conducting thorough pre-use checks to identify potential faults and learn the correct process for reporting issues before operation.

Emergency procedures and accident prevention

Learn essential steps to take in emergency situations and adopt best practices to minimize risks and prevent workplace accidents.

FAQ's

How Is The Course Delivered

All of our order picker training courses are delivered in person and are available at our training centre or your work site. 

Each course consists of three components; theoretical tests, practical tests, and pre-use checks. You must pass each component to successfully complete the course.  

Upon successfully completing our medium level order picker course, you will receive a certificate accredited by the chosen accrediting body. Photo ID cards are also available but may incur an additional cost to the quoted cost of the training, depending on the accreditor.
