360 Excavator Training Bristol
There are two types of excavators, of which we have a vast amount of experience training on – there is the wheeled (rubber duck) excavator and tracked (draglines) excavator.
Excavators must only be operated by fully trained, competant operators – who in addition have been given authorisation to operate. Any operation should follow a suitable risk assessment.
We offer ITSSAR accredited training, which can be carried out at a Training centre or at customers locations across the UK.
Training includes (but is not limited to);
Induction & Relevant Regulations (LOLER 1998, PUWER 1998 & HAWASA 1974)
Rated capacities, and how the load radius and elevation of the load affects the lifting capacity.
Basic Steering, Moving & Stopping
Grading & Screeding
Preparing for transport
Manoeuvring on inclines or ramps
The differences between various lifting accessories or machine attachments (where required)
Pre use checks test
Theory Test
Practical Test
THREE THINGS TO REMEMBER :
The excavator must NOT be operated outside of its capabilities, and if for any reason you are in doubt either contact the machine manufacturer or call our office to discuss.
The manufactures recommended bucket size must NOT be exceeded
When the load radius and elevation increases, or dependant on the type of material, the lifting capacity could decrease.
