Pedestrian Pallet Truck FAQs
How are rider pallet truck courses assessed?
All of our rider pallet truck courses are assessed over three core elements; theoretical tests, practical tests, and a pre-use check. You must pass all three elements to pass the course successfully.
What will I receive upon completing a pallet truck training course?
All our courses are accredited by one of three accrediting bodies; RTITB, ITSSAR, and AITT. On passing a course, you will receive a certificate. ITSSAR and AITT courses also include an ID card in the quoted price. ID cards are also available for RTITB courses at an additional cost.
Do I need a license to operate a rider pallet truck?
No. The ID cards available on completion of an accredited course are often mistaken for forklift licenses. However, there are no forklift licenses. The certificate of basic training received upon completing your course is the legal document for operating a forklift.
