Benefits Of Multidirectional Combilift Forklifts
Multi-Directional forklifts are typically referred to as a Combilift (because of the manufacturer) or 4-way steer forklifts. They are the most suitable solution for handling longer loads, especially due to the different types of trucks available within this category. See below for more info on categories.
The main benefit of these trucks are that they not only operate in the same way as their standard counterparts, but they have the capability to move sideways and diagonally. Hence, Multidirectional. Forwards, Backwards, Left and Right. This means they can be used in tighter aisles, and for more purposes than standard Forklifts, Sideloaders and Reach Trucks.
