All our training is ITSSAR, RTITB, and AITT accredited and can be carried out at your preferred location. Our expert instructors cover the length and breadth of the UK, providing you with truly national coverage.

THREE THINGS TO REMEMBER :
On a 180 Excavator, the front bucket stabilises the backhoe load.
Ensure you keep the bucket flat while entering a stockpile and the bucket square against the stockpile.
Don’t be “greedy” with the bucket.
A NOTE TO EMPLOYERS
Any successful candidates should be supervised in line with the reported strengths and weaknesses in their training. If the training was NOT carried on the exact type of equipment they will be using; please ensure the appropriate familiarisation training is given.

How long does the 180 Excavator training course take to complete?
We offer three different versions of our digger training course depending on your level of experience. You can sign up for either our novice course (5 days), experienced course (3 days), or our refresher course (1 day). Some candidates may require additional training to the recommended guidelines.
How often should I refresh my training?
This is down to whether you or your employer feels you need to refresh your skills. It is not a legal requirement to undertake additional training. However, the HSE recommended guidelines are that operators complete refresher training every 3-5 years.
What qualifications do you need to drive a digger?
Some companies require candidates to have a CSCS card in order use their 180 Excavator qualification on certain sites.
